CityPare

Privacy policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

CityPare lets anyone compare US cities side by side. This page explains what CityPare collects, why, and how to have it deleted. CityPare is run by Balenti Valenzuela.

You can use CityPare without an account

Comparing cities, Smart Pear and Explore need no sign in. We do not ask for your name, location, or contacts to use them.

What we collect if you make an account

A sign in cookie keeps you signed in on your device. It is not used for tracking or advertising.

Usage counts with no personal data

We count which cities and matchups are compared and searched, so we know which cities to improve. These counts carry no name, email, device ID or IP address and cannot be tied to you.

What we do not do

Services that help run CityPare

City data comes from public sources: the US Census, Zillow, NASA, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Wikipedia.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Deleting it erases your email, name, home city and every save.

Deleting your account

In the app, tap your name at the top, then Delete my account. Full steps, and how to ask by email instead, are on the account deletion page.

Children

CityPare is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
